Foodie Here!
Hi, I'm Daniel Black, the owner of Full Plate Films, a branch of Daniel Black TV. I created Full Plate Films not because I love food (though I do; we all should), but because I love the stories that come with food. I believe food is a great way to experience a story, as it engages other senses like, smell, sight, warmth, cold, and texture. To me, tasting food is a powerful way to understand someone or something and become inspired. I love hearing the stories of people who are inspired to create food for others. Why do they doit? What inspired them? What were their setbacks, and how did they overcome them? The series "Chef's Table" on Netflix does this perfectly, and I hope to create a version of that for the places that impact: the local food spots around New England. Thank you, and I hope to provide solutions for your food business.
My Story
I'm a Dad and I'm the main cook in my family. I have 5 bosses; 2 kids, 1 wife and 2 cats). I'f I don't make tacos on Tuesday I'm in trouble! I've been working in video production one way or another for almost two decades (wow, I feel younger than that) and I've worked for great companies and not-so-great-companies and most of those not-so-great-companies no longer exist. And over my career i've come to understand there are several things I've learned about myself; Being nice and sincere, will pay dividends in your career. I am cursed to have the need to be creative. I like to communicate and lead open minded people. I need to add a net positive to society with every project. If a project does not bring some positivity to the community it feels hollow and I've worked on too many of those projects.
